HOW DOES PREFRESH WORK?
There are two requirements to control bad breath. Firstly, to bring the mouth back to a PH level of 6.5 by introducing alkaline thus neutralising the acids, which in turn stop excess bacteria from being produced. 1. Reduce the acid level in our mouths
The PREFRESH system works at reducing the acids in the mouth using PREFRESH tooth powder. The powder has two purposes. Firstly to remove existing plaque build up and secondly, to neutralise acids in the mouth. The ingredients (Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate and Sodium Chloride achieve this naturally. 2. Introducing oxygen to eliminate bacteria
As we have discussed anaerobic bacteria is found on the tongue and at the back of the throat. Anaerobic bacteria produce Volatile Sulfur Compounds, which in turn produce the foul odour.
